Removal of old vapor barrier and insulation under crawl space, disinfect and mold treat throughout crawl space.
Solutions provided:
Seal and plate foundation vents inside crawl space and spray foam insulate, spray foam insulate top of foundation wall at rim joist inside crawl space to include new crawl space door to be framed in installed on hinges that is composite and will be a inside swing door allowing access to the crawl space. Install a 16 mil vapor barrier to the floor of crawl space and around pillars to reduce and inhibit mold growth along with moisture leaking into the home, vapor barrier will be seam tape when overlapped to include attaching to the foundation walls of new insulation foam board that will be installed. Install r11 foam board insulation with vapor barrier attached to the foundation walls inside crawl space to include seam taping at meet points of insulation. Install is a subcompact Santa Fe dehumidifier in crawl space to include condensation pump and runoff lines. Install a runoff line through a small opening at the foundation vent and seal around it to allow extraction of any moisture and condensation from the dehumidifier to run off and away from home. Hook up electrical in crawl space for the humidifier to have its own designated outlet.
