Why did the customer contact us?
Customer needed Crawlspace maintenance.
Solutions provided:
Install Dimpleshield drain mat on entire floor of space.
Install 12 mil reinforced liner on floor, left and right walls.
Install Borafoam termite resistant board on rear wall (R10)
Apply 2 inches of closed cell foam to rear rim joist. (R13)
Induce conditioned air into space with 2 passive vents on supply lines in crawlspace.
Install FastDrain with FastSump and liner on rear wall only with discharge on right rear side. Includes dedicated electrical receptacle by licensed electrician.
To address water issues additional exterior work will be noted below.
Install custom PVC panel hatch in interior entry point with spring catches, grab handles and weather seal. Customer will provide examples of hatch entry door and SES will work to provide a door comparable to customer’s request within the confines of this proposal. If customer desires more custom work an additional charge will be incurred.
Demo sump, crock in left front area of basement.
Back fill area with fill, crushed stone and cover with concrete.
Demo right side planter, all soil and wood and dispose. Penetration points will be sealed to prevent water or pests from entering. Install poly window well cover behind HVAC unit and secure to wall.
Extend dryer vent above soil line to prevent water entry and install new vent cover.
Extend discharge for FastDrain and right downspout along right side at fence line, in soil, to outside of fence line into 2 drain boxes in soil.
Customer understands the old tree stump at right rear corner may impact demo work.
Finish area with mulch when completed.
