Why did the customer contact us?
The customer had a basement wall crack.
Solutions provided:
Right front corner of basement has vertical crack. Water/sediment was entering previously but customer has remediated most of the issues with landscaping and water management.
To seal crack and prevent any additional issues install Carbon Fiber repair kit from floor to ceiling. Run repair kit down into concrete floor next to wall and cover with concrete when finished.
Sunroom crawlspace is sealed with no ventilation. To bring this up to code and provide some comfort and efficiency install 10 mil liner on floor of space, pin and seal to walls.
Apply 2 inches of closed cell foam to exterior rim joist to air seal.
Install vent in supply to partially condition space.
