Why did the customer contact us?
The customer had leaks in their basement.
Solutions provided:
Existing old drain system appears to have failed in parts. Unable to do a patch or repair as remainder of system cannot be inspected.
Demo existing drain system.
Install new GrateDrain system along existing path to existing terra cotta sump pit. Replace pit with new GrateSump liner and FastSump pump.
Install high water alarm and check valve.
Flush ports to be installed for examination and servicing.
Restore floors with concrete when completed.
Flood test discharge line when completed.
Customer will demo drywall in family room up to 24 inches from floor and studs in right side wall in utility room to facilitate installation.
