Why did the customer contact us?

The customer needed repairs for their crawl space.

Solutions provided:

Sister in new 2 x 8 joists across entire main section of home front and rear spans included. Support and lift carrying beam as needed, install steel plate shims at each column. Remove all damaged insulation across both spaces and discard.
Install FastDrain system along entire front of home with FastSump, liner out to left side into drain box in soil. Install check valve, high water alarm and battery backup system to prevent issues during power outages. Install full Crawlshield encapsulation system. Includes reinforced Crawlshield liner with Dimpleshield drain mat.

Install Borafoam termite resistant foam board on all exterior walls up to sill plate. R10 insulation value. To stop airflow into crawlspace apply 2 inches of closed cell foam to entire perimeter rim joist and provide R13 insulation plus an air barrier.

Treat entire space with sanitizer to kill all microbial growth. Customer will need to be out of home during and up to 1 hour after treatment.
