Why did the customer contact us?

The customer needed crawl space repairs.

Solutions provided:

Pre-treat all three crawlspaces for rodent activity, return two weeks later and remove all old soiled insulation to include old vapor barrier.
Remove all visible rodent droppings throughout crawlspaces. Disinfect and smell treat inside of all crawlspaces to kill any bacteria, parasites, or hantavirus. Spray foam rim joist in all three crawlspaces to reduce humidity, spray foam interior walls of crawlspace connected to utility room at kitchen due to being confined for proper installation. Install r11 foam board insulation with vapor barrier to other two crawlspaces on walls of interior and seam tape.
Plate foundation vents from interior and air seal, frame and install exterior composite entry hatches to both crawlspaces. Install drain mat to floor of crawlspaces to reduce trapping moisture under vapor barrier.

Install 12 mill vapor barrier to floors of crawlspaces and run up walls of interior to include overlapping vapor barrier and seam taping to floors and attaching and seam tape to walls.
Hook up electrical for designated source for dehumidifier, install a Santa Fe subcompact dehumidifier to draw moisture from crawlspaces,
Install condensate pump and runoff line to extract water that is collected from dehumidifier to outside of exterior.
Treat exterior of home and crawlspaces for three months for rodents as this is a one time per month treatment.
