Why did the customer contact us?
The customer needed repairs to their crawl space.
Solutions provided:
Remove all old batted fiberglass insulation. Install stainless steel screen on vents. Install R11 bora foam board on walls. Spray foam exterior sill plate. Install dimple shield and 16 mil vapor barrier/crawl shield on the floor. Seam tape 16 mil vapor barrier to the R11 bora foam board. Fix the sump discharge line with better support to the rafters. Under the porch area fix the discharge line to directly drain into the 4 inch discharge line. Install one insulated white composite new door with latches to crawl space. Under the bump, the out window installs a new piece of white composite wood where wood is missing. Caulk along the gap between the wood and the brick. To access the area under the porch a section of lattice work will be removed and reinstalled after work is finished with the caulking and the discharge line.
