Why did the customer contact us?
GrateDrain system with mold treatment. Front wall of the basement had mold which was remediated. Rear wall has possible mold.
Solutions provided:
SES will remove rear drywall and drywall around the fireplace. Perform containment procedure around the affected area. Demo drywall to inspect. If mold is found full containment will be needed with remediation. Install GrateDrain system around affected walls with full heavy duty finish shield from floor to ceiling in affected areas. Extend the GrateDrain system under stairs to existing sump liner and utilize existing sump and discharge.
If it is found no widespread fungal growth exists SES will deduct the cost of remediation and containment. Demo and abandon existing drain. Install new 9 inch drain box, run under the doorway into the basement and into FastSump with a liner. Run discharge up and out of the walkout to the left side next to the fence and walkway into the drain box flush with soil.
