Excessive moisture in space due to air infiltration. Supply ducts are sweating. Floor is already covered with liner and sealed to the walls. Heavy musty odor and evidence of fungal growth. Insulation is damp and falling throughout space.
Solutions provided:
Remove all insulation from the ceiling and dispose. Install Borafoam treated board on all exterior walls up to the sill plate. Tuck under the existing liner and re-seal to Bora Foam. Apply 2 inches of closed cell foam to all rim joists in space. Perform sterilization of space with commercial grade sterilizer. The customer and any pets will need to be out of home during and up to 1 hour after application. Install inducer in the supply trunk to partially condition space. Close and seal all vents. Insulate door with bora foam.
