Why did the customer contact us?
Water entering the basement likely due to a leaking irrigation system pipe pumping water down the foundation wall. Customer has turned off the water supply to the irrigation system.
Solutions provided:
Demo drywall, baseboard and insulation to locate source of leak. Pull up carpet in the affected area, set up an air mover to dry out padding and carpet. Air mover will be left for 1 week. Pending investigation of leak apply carbon fiber epoxy patch to vertical crack. The customer will need to leave the wall open for 24 hours to allow proper curing of repair.
