The customer needed new crawl space insulation and a vapor barrier.
Solutions provided:
Clean old insulation and vapor barrier up. Air seal Rim rim joist in crawlspace the top of foundation wall with spray foam. Install dimple shield to the floor of crawlspace to protect paper barrier and reduce trapping of moisture. Install R11 foam board with vapor barrier to walls of crawl space. Install 16mil vapor barrier to floor and seam tape to walls. Conduct mice treatment with our to use in crawlspace and disinfect to kill any bacteria, parasites after crawlspace has been cleaned of debris.
