The customer needed repairs to their two crawl spaces.
Solutions provided:
Left crawl space has debris and low clearance. Will need the following:
Crawlshield 16 mil reinforced liner with Dimple Shield underlayment up to walls. Exterior walls to have Barafoam R10 foam board up to the sill plate.
Apply 2 inches of closed cell foam to rim joist to air seal and provide R13 insulation value.
Remove all debris.
Right crawlspace: Significant standing water in rear and center of space. Washed stone is soaked toward the front half of space as well. Evidence of previous rat infestation and some ants were noted in space as well. Utilize existing sump pump and crock. Install FastDrain system on rear CMU only. Run a perforated lateral line from FastDrain, grade for drainage at line and direct toward the entry point. Excavate down, penetrate CMU and direct down into the sump. Full crawl space encapsulation. Crawl Shield with dimple shield, all debris removed. Install Borafoam on CMU walls up to the sill plate and spray foam rim joist with 2 inches closed cell foam.
Highly recommend proper dehumidification in main crawl space due to some evidence of microbial/fungal growth. Install WiseAir 85 and direct condensate down to the sump liner. SES will guarantee the Crawl Shield installation for a period of 25 years and it is fully transferable. SES will guarantee the partial FastDrain system for a period of 5 years. SES can not guarantee the existing Zoeller pump or the discharge but will perform a full flood test to verify it is functioning. If the pump is not functioning SES can replace the pump at additional cost. De-watering will need to be addressed prior to any work being started.
