Why did the customer contact us?

Crawlspace Encapsulation: Mr. Meshesha called and needed a price on crawlspace encapsulation as he has insulation hanging and the floors inside his home feel damp and cold. He also mentioned the home smells moldy near the crawlspace.

Solutions provided:

Crawlspace Encapsulation: Our solution was to remove all batted insulation and the old vapor barrier. We Installed dimple shield on the floor of the crawlspace. We also Installed a 16 mil vapor barrier to the floor and walls of the crawlspace. Added seam tape to bind vapor barrier together. We added spray foam seal plate around exterior walls. Install R 11 foam board to exterior walls only. We sealed vents and insulate access door.

Summit also Installed one wise air 55 in the crawlspace and ran a line through the exterior wall.

We gave Mr. Meshesha a 5-year manufacturer warranty and 1 yearly checkup free.

We added spray foam air duct lines to insulate with 1 inch of closed cell spray foam.


The customer received a 2-year work and labor warranty.
